Web Development questions we get asked.
Which technology will you use for our project?
It depends on what you need to maintain. Content-heavy marketing sites often land on WordPress or a headless CMS with Next.js. Applications with complex logic usually go to Laravel or Node. We recommend, explain the trade-offs, and you decide.
Can you take over a site another agency built?
Usually. We start with a paid audit of the codebase, hosting and dependencies, then give you an honest read: maintain, refactor or rebuild. Sometimes the answer is rebuild, and we will show you the reasoning rather than assert it.
Do we get access to the code?
Yes, from the first commit. The repository sits in your organisation and we work in it. There is no scenario where leaving us means losing your code.
How do you handle hosting?
We can deploy to your infrastructure or set up and manage hosting for you — shared, VPS or cloud, sized to your traffic. Either way the accounts are in your name.
What does maintenance actually cover?
Core and dependency updates, security patching, uptime and error monitoring, daily backups with tested restores, and a monthly block of hours for small changes. You get a report each month showing what was done.
