Cyboq Creative with Innovative
Start a project hello@cyboq.com

A small team that
behaves like your team.

Cyboq started in 2019 with an unfashionable idea: that clients would rather talk to the people doing the work than to an account manager relaying messages. Six years and 240 projects later, we still run it that way.

Our story

We built the agency we kept wishing we could hire.

Between us we had spent years inside larger agencies watching the same pattern: a senior team wins the work, a junior team delivers it, and the client spends six months wondering why the thing they bought is not the thing arriving. Good people, bad structure.

So the model here is deliberately narrow. We keep the team small enough that the people in your kickoff call are the people writing the code. We take on fewer projects than we could. And we say no to work we are not the right fit for — which happens roughly once a month and has never once been regretted.

What we are not: the cheapest option, a body shop, or a team that will build whatever is on the brief without asking why. What we are: a group of senior designers, engineers, marketers and AI specialists who would rather have a difficult conversation in week one than an awkward one in month four.

2019

Founded

Three people, one shared office desk, first client in week two.

2021

Marketing studio

Added paid media and SEO so growth was not somebody else's problem.

2023

AI practice

First automation project shipped. First AI project we talked a client out of.

2026

24 people, 18 countries

Same model, same refusal to put juniors on the front line alone.

Principles

Five things we will not trade away.

These are not wall posters. They are the rules we use when a decision is genuinely difficult.

Say the hard thing early

If a budget is unrealistic, a deadline is fiction or an idea will not work, you hear it in week one. Discomfort now is cheaper than a rescue project later.

Scope is a promise

What we agreed in writing is what you get, at the price we agreed. If we underestimated something, that is our problem to absorb, not yours to fund.

You own everything

Code, accounts, domains, design files, documentation. Handed over at the start, not held as leverage. Leaving us should be boring.

Measure or do not claim it

We report what actually happened, including the months where a tactic failed. A report with no bad news in it is a report nobody should trust.

Seniors on the front line

The people in your kickoff are the people in your codebase. Juniors work here and grow here — behind a senior, never instead of one.

Ship every fortnight

Something real lands every two weeks on a URL you can open. Progress you can see beats a percentage in a status report.

The team

The people who will actually be on your project.

No bench, no bait and switch. This is the group.

AK

Ayaan Khan

Founder & Strategy Lead

Eleven years across product and agency work. Runs discovery, and the one who tells you when the brief is wrong.

EV

Elena Vasquez

Design Director

Design systems and interaction. Believes accessibility is a design constraint, not a compliance checkbox.

MO

Marcus Oduya

Engineering Lead

Backend architecture and performance. Has strong and well-evidenced opinions about caching.

PS

Priya Sharma

Head of Growth

Paid media and SEO. Built the attribution model we use to decide where every pound of budget goes.

TL

Tomas Lindgren

AI Practice Lead

Machine learning and applied LLM systems. The person most likely to recommend against an AI project.

NA

Nadia Al-Amin

Delivery Manager

Keeps sprints honest and communication in one place. The reason our timelines tend to hold.

JC

Jonas Chen

Senior Front-end Engineer

Interface engineering and Core Web Vitals. Treats a 200ms regression as a bug worth stopping for.

Working with us

One channel. Weekly demos. No surprises.

You get a shared Slack or Teams channel with the whole project team in it, a board you can open at any hour, and a live staging URL from week one. Meetings happen when they add something; everything else is written down.

  • Replies within one business day, usually much faster
  • A demo every two weeks, recorded if you cannot attend
  • Written decisions, so nothing lives only in someone's memory
  • Timezone overlap agreed at kickoff and actually honoured
Work with us

Come and tell us what is not working.

Thirty minutes with the people who would run your project. No deck, no pitch team, no obligation.
