Storefronts built
around margin.

Traffic is not the problem for most stores. The problem is a slow catalogue, a five-step checkout and merchandising that pushes the products you make the least money on.

§ 01Scope Agreed in writing before we start

Everything included in E-commerce.

Scope is agreed in writing before we start. Nothing on this list is an upsell discovered halfway through.

Store build & migration

New builds or platform migrations with the thing everyone forgets handled properly: URL mapping, so you keep your search rankings.

Checkout optimisation

Fewer steps, honest shipping costs shown early, guest checkout, wallet payments and a form that does not lose your data on error.

Catalogue & merchandising

Faceted search, collection logic and recommendations tuned toward margin rather than whatever happens to be popular.

Systems integration

ERP, inventory, 3PL, accounting, subscriptions and tax. One source of truth instead of four spreadsheets that disagree.

Lifecycle & retention

Abandoned cart, post-purchase, replenishment and win-back flows — the revenue most stores leave sitting in their email tool.

CRO programme

A structured test roadmap on the pages that matter, with enough traffic discipline to know when a result is real.

Product pages that answer the objection before it becomes an abandoned cart
Speed budgets enforced on the catalogue, where most stores quietly bleed
Structured data so your products appear properly in search results
Payments, tax and shipping configured for every market you actually sell to
Reporting that connects ad spend to contribution margin, not just revenue
§ 02 — Our approach

We optimise for profit per visitor, not conversion rate.

Conversion rate is easy to move with discounting and easy to move in a direction that costs you money. We build the reporting to see contribution margin by channel, category and cohort first — then optimise against a number that actually matters to the business.

§ 03Delivery Four stages

Four stages, no black box.

STEP 01

Commercial audit

We review analytics, margin by category, funnel drop-off and the current tech stack, then rank opportunities by expected return.

STEP 02

Design & build

Storefront design and implementation on the right platform, with a staging store you can place test orders through.

STEP 03

Migrate & launch

Data migration, redirect mapping, payment and tax setup, then a rehearsed launch scheduled outside your peak trading hours.

STEP 04

Optimise

A monthly cycle of testing, lifecycle campaigns and merchandising work, reported against revenue and margin.

§ 04 — Toolkit

The tools behind the work.

We pick tools for how well they will age, not for how they look on a capabilities slide. Everything here is something we use weekly.

The checkout rebuild paid for the whole project inside four months. What surprised me more was the margin reporting — we found out that our best-selling collection was our worst earner and changed what we promote.

§ 05Questions Asked before signing

E-commerce questions we get asked.

Shopify or WooCommerce?
Shopify if you want the operational burden handled and your requirements fit the platform — which covers most stores. WooCommerce if you need unusual pricing logic, deep WordPress content integration or full control of hosting. Custom or headless only when the catalogue or traffic genuinely justifies it.
Will migrating hurt our SEO?
Not if it is done properly. The risk is almost always unmapped URLs. We build a complete redirect map, preserve structured data and metadata, and monitor Search Console daily for the first month. Most migrations we run recover within two weeks and then exceed the old baseline.
Can you work with our existing store instead of rebuilding?
Yes, and often that is the better call. A speed pass, a checkout rework and a lifecycle email programme frequently returns more than a rebuild, for a fraction of the cost.
Do you handle product photography and content?
We handle the templates, structured data and content strategy, and can bring in photography partners we have worked with. Ongoing catalogue content is usually more economical for your team to run once we have set up the system.
How do you measure success?
Revenue per session, contribution margin, cart abandonment rate, average order value and repeat purchase rate — agreed at kickoff and reported monthly against the pre-project baseline.
